Doulton water filters & cartridges are made of the finest natural material designed to reduce a wide spectrum of water contaminants such as chlorine, fluoride, chemicals, organics, and even heavy metals such as lead, mercury & cadmium. The ceramic cartridges have an anti-bacterial mix built into the filter which inhibits the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms on the filter surface. High specification ceramic filters draw contaminants from the water supply improving the taste and odour of tap water while retaining all of the naturally occurring minerals found in water.
Doulton water filters and its ceramic candles are manufactured in an accredited ISO 9000 facility in the UK. Designed to suit every home & budget, Doulton offers their filtration products in under sink, countertop, and gravity-fed options.

The general rule of thumb is, that the smaller the pore size of a filter and the more complicated the path the water takes through the filter medium, the more effective it is at removing particles from the water.
Ceramic filters have a small and complex pore structure, making it an ideal filter medium. The pore structure of the Doulton ceramic drinking water filters is accurately controlled. This expertise gives the candles the highly consistent pore structure necessary to remove a wide range of contaminants over the life of a filter.
Doulton ceramic filters have taken ceramic filter technology to the next level:
